How would you like to take direct part in a comic?

If you've read 'MSPaint adventures' or 'Prequel' (both are awesome and VERY much worth reading) then you know what we're talking about here.

They inspired me to give it a shot myself. Always did want to make a comic. So I started one up on FA about a month ago - and its got a small following... but I'm ambitious me. I want to expand. So I contacted the good people at Fresh Epics and they said "get 1k+ watchers on DA and we'll talk' - and I want to answer that challenge... but I'll need your help!

So what does this involve? Well, first of all the comic itself. I'll reformat and repost it here - and this will be where it updates from, from then on.

It revolves around the story of Subject 345 - an amnesiac lab-experiment who has lost any and all tactile sensation - is infact completely numb. They story begins as she finds herself lucid for more than a few moments - and decides to imagine voices to galvanize herself into action. From there on well... thats for you, the readers, to decide! You advise her actions, direct her around and help her figure out who/what she is, where she is and what is happening around her. Think of it as your own Monkey Island game, hand-drawn and sometimes even animated according to your whims.

Sound like fun? I think so.

Hey guys, its been a while!

Stuff's been hectic, what with being hired in as a Creative Writer for a little game studio, moving offices and rebuilding that drawing mojo.

Anyway, so many awesome people have come through to comment on the crossover projects I've worked on - so I thought I'd take your input on what to pursue next. It feels like its about time to try out another one hm?

Toss in your two cents!

Most of you recognize those times when the idea trough runs low and nothing useful or acceptable comes out on paper (or screen, depending on how digital you like to be). The dreaded artists' block.

Lets not wallow in that though.

To combat it then, what could be better than diving head-on into a few drawing challenges. If'n any of the fine people having a read here is interested in trading some artwork, please do send me a Note! Art trades are fun.

It also dawned on my that I have very few drawing friends with which to spar, to challenge (and be challenged by) and cooperate on artsy projects... hopefully the above may lead to just that though.

It's been busy lately, but the abyssals project will be finished up asap. Infernal Pinkie is sketched and in the works - and should be coming your way soon.

Thanks for all your suggestions and good ideas!

So we're approaching the end of the My Little Abyssals project - the Mane 6 have almost all been added to the list. The only remaining characters are Applejack and Pinkie Pie.

As you may well have guessed, Applejack will be starring as a mirror of her previous solar version - so she'll represent the Dusk Caste.

That leaves Pinkie Pie or Pinkamena (to use the commonly accepted names)

Now, I can't create a poll because I'm a cheapskate, but I'll lay out the suggestions I've observed and then (you are free to make new ones too) - when the time comes, illustrate Pinkie or Pinkamena as whatever YOU guys can agree the most on.

The suggestions I've picked up on:

- A second member of one of the 5 existing Castes

- A Sidereal again (think The Green Lady)

- An Infernal Exalt

- An Alchemical Exalt (I hear there's something about corrupted Alchemicals)

- Something not mentioned above?

Ahh, time off and enough of it to do some drawing. I missed this.

I think its time to do some drawing on Rarity as an abyssal.

So it occurs to me that the Mane 6 Abyssals would need proper Abyssal names - part of being a Deathknight is relinquishing ones name in the service of Oblivion and the Neverborn so...

Taking suggestions for morbidly poetic alternative names for the Mane 6.

With the apparent success of the Exalted ponies, I thought I'd set up a chance to organize it all abit and provide a place to gather up not just my things, but all the cool pony and RP crossovers here on deviantart.

If you have ideas or such you'd like to see illustrated, add 'em here and we'll find a consensus and try to see it done! Anything not marked as "done" is still up for debate. I'm surpised and infinitely pleased at the positive reception the Exalted pictures have recieved this early - and naturally that makes meconsider doing more.

Would you all taking an interest here like to see more of the pony exalts? Perhaps there are other characters that could do with a debut in Creation.

If so, please do give me a shout and by all means suggest ideas, if you have any you'd like to see me work on.

If it gets popular enough, this might have to be turned into a comic... hmmm...

Since taking a turn away from doing mainly anthro theme art, it seemed like a logical step to pick up a new venue in which to display these other works... additionally, its always nice to get acquainted with other artists, creative folk and art enthusiasts.  So here's to showing off to new interesting people!
