When her final moment comes, Rainbow's pride and courage fail. She accepts the dark offer and takes the Final Breath. She relinquishes her fate, her name and takes up the cause to end All That Is in the name of Oblivion as Sprinter in Shattered Light.

Members of the Day Caste hunt their mortal prey in Creation at the behest of their Deathlord and Neverborn masters, but They Who Dwell Among the Wretched are no less dangerous in the Underworld. The Children of Blood walk easily among the living, unnoticed until they kill.
